Performance Marketing Manager

Remote Role
​
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Establish KPIs & strategy for clients to maximize growth and return on ad spend
-
Stay informed of changes in the digital marketing landscape and take advantage of new opportunities to further drive growth where applicable
-
Plan, create, optimize, pace budgets, manage, and report on paid media campaigns across channels (such as Paid Search, Demand Gen, Performance Max, Shopping, Display, YouTube, and more)
-
While primary focus would be on paid search within Google Ads & Microsoft Advertising, there would be occasional work on Meta, LinkedIn, and other paid social platforms

Manage other team members and freelancers, including delegation, training, and feedback
-
Build and maintain relationships with clients & vendors via video calls, emails, and occasional in person meetings

Support business development process by helping with pitches and account audits
-
Ensure best practices are applied across ad accounts
-
Conduct intra-channel and cross channel analysis to uncover media insights
-
Develop a performance-based testing plan, with a prioritized focus on the biggest opportunities for clients
Position Requirements:
-
Minimum 4+ years of experience in paid media, with a focus on paid search
-
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required
-
In-depth knowledge of digital advertising including in the weeds paid search campaign management
-
Proven record of success in driving growth for accounts, meeting deadlines, and pacing budgets with a high degree of accuracy

Goal & detail oriented
-
Experience managing ad accounts with a variety of budget sizes, up to and including $1M+ annual budgets
-
Positive team player & problem solver
-
Strong communication skills with clients and team members
-
Enjoy working with data, including via Microsoft Excel
-
Experience in creating deck presentations
-
Strong experience & deep technical knowledge in Google Ads & Microsoft Advertising
-
Strong experience with direct management of B2B paid media campaigns on Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and LinkedIn, as well as B2C paid media campaigns across platforms
-
Experience in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and some understanding of ad platform conversion tracking
A plus but not required:
-
Knowledge of Google Tag Manager

Knowledge of Amazon Advertising

Knowledge of paid social advertising across additional platforms, such as TikTok, Reddit, Snap, etc.

Interest and ability to occasionally travel to see clients
-
Knowledge of Google Ads scripts

Experience managing junior team members such as interns, analysts, managers, as well as freelancers

Client-facing experience

Feed management for Google Ads

Working with Arbutus Digital:
Arbutus Digital is fully remote. Typical working hours are from 9:30am to 5:30pm EST; however, there is significant flexibility with this if agreed in advance. It will also be sometimes necessary to work outside of these hours.

Compensation:

The annual salary range for this position is $75,000-$95,000 USD + Health, Dental, and Vision stipend of $10,000/year
